Privacy Policy
Opalyn is an offline-first booking, operations, note, and reporting app for service businesses.
Data we collect
Offline mode stores business data locally on the device. Online mode may process account email, business profile, tenant settings, staff roles, customers, services, bookings, completion notes, notification tokens when enabled, sync metadata, audit logs, trial state, store subscription entitlement records, and export metadata.
How data is used
Data is used to provide booking operations, tenant isolation, role permissions, cloud sync, reminders when enabled, reports, exports, subscription entitlement verification, support, security, and abuse prevention.
Providers
Opalyn may use Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging when enabled, Cloudflare Workers/D1, and Apple/Google store billing APIs for online cloud-sync subscription verification. Opalyn excludes analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, salon payment SDKs, ad SDKs, and tracking SDKs.
Offline and online mode
Offline data remains on the device unless exported, backed up, or upgraded to online sync. Online data is tenant-scoped and controlled by server-side membership and role permissions. Expired or suspended online tenants retain read/export access where legally allowed.
Export and deletion
Tenant owners can export tenant data. Online users can request account deletion. Offline users control their local app data and backup files.
